Running the Bases
After the Dodger game, the kids were invited down to the field to run the bases. They brought us through the visitors bullpen and out on to the field. The kids were so excited to be where the real players play. After they ran the bases, they passed by the Dodgers dugout and then out through the Dodgers bullpen. It was exciting (even for me) to be on the playing field!

Dodgers vs. Rockies
We decided to take the kids to the Dodger game on Sunday. It was Children's Appreciation Day and also Ryan and Natalie's first Dodger game. Katie went to her first game with me last season. It was hot, but luckily our tickets were in the shade. Katie and Natalie got a Dodger dog, while Ryan opted for a Brooklyn Dodgers pizza. It was a great game and we even got to see a grand slam!

A few pictures from Disneyland
We met my niece Ally and her boyfriend Brad at Disneyland one afternoon for a few hours. Ally was on spring break and we just wanted to spend a little time with her. Because we go to Disneyland often, I don't take a whole lot of pictures. On this day, Natalie got to take a picture with Minnie Mouse for the first time.

Birthday Parties and Henna Tattoos
Where else, but in California, can you go to a children's birthday party and get a henna tattoo? Well, I took Katie to a birthday party for her dance class friend, Jasmine, at Playsource in Woodland Hills and found a wonderful mix of Philipino and Indian food and family. We both had a great time! Jasmine's aunt gave free henna tattoos and I got one on the back of my hand. It was fun meeting all of Jasmine's big family . Playsource was a great place for a party because it had something for everyone (I didn't even know it was there until that day). Bouncer, play house and cars for the smaller kids, climbing wall and foosball for the older ones. It would be a great place to take the kids for a few hours. Katie and another friend from dance, Michaela, got their faces panted, ate pizza and cake, and played together for two hours. It was nice that it was in the early evening because when Katie came home, she was tired and ready for bed!
