We started the day with a character breakfast at the hotel. Those character meals are the best thing. I don't have to wait in line and I can sit and eat while I wait for them to come to the table. We then went to Disney Studios which is home to their Toy Story Mania. Always a favorite!
Ryan got to pick which park he wanted to go to on his actual birthday. He chose Animal Kingdom. We did the safari in the morning, when all the animals were out. By far, the best part of the day was the Lion King Show. It was simply amazing!
We had a great day at Epcot. We ate lunch at the Garden Grill, which is a character lunch, then we priority seating for the Candelight Processional, which was narrated by Susan Lucci. What a spectacular event! It was definately worth the wait!
Ryan chose to have his birthday dinner at a new restaurant in Downtown Disney called T Rex. It's owned by the same company who owns the Rainforest Cafe. It's the exact same, just dinosaur theme. It was a really neat place for Ryan to celebrate his 9th birthday.
