UCLA Catalog Shoot

Yesterday the kids got to do a photo shoot for the fall UCLA catalog. When I was on Facebook last month, I saw a post from the UCLA student store asking for student models for the catalog. They also needed alumni and kids. So I sent the kids' pictures in and they decided to use all three of them. It was a quick shoot. When we got there, they gave us the outfits they wanted the kids in, and when they were ready they took us outside to shoot. The whole process was less than an hour.

These are some of the pictures that I took. They will send me a CD of all the pictures they took of the kids. I'll post some of those when I get them.

Dodger Blue

Last Friday, we took Ryan and Katie to the Dodgers v. Pirates game. We got tickets in the My Town section because it was UCLA night. We had a great time with an all-you-can eat menu, a free hat and shirt, and a Dodger win! The only drawback of the night was the wind. We had a fun time despite the wind, and hope to make it back for a few more games this season.

Too Long Since Last Post

Wow, it has been almost 3 months since my last blog post! I didn't think it had been that long! Every time I wanted to sit down and write, something else came up. Life has been a blur for the past few weeks. Hopefully I will get into a groove and start blogging. So I guess I have to make up for lost time. So here's to many blogging days ahead.
