Happy Halloween!!

The night before Halloween we went to our church for their Halloween festival and Trunk-or-Treat. A couple of friends from Ryan and Katie's baseball team met us there. The kids had a great time playing with each other and watching "The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". On Halloween, we just stayed home and visited our neighbors and watched football. Unfortunately, the kids got lots of candy, which means I'll be tempted to eat it!

Pumpkin Patch

I took the kids to a pumpkin patch near our house. They got to each pick out their own pumpkin to decorate. Unfortunately, it cost a little too much to do all the extras like ride the train ($4.00/person) and go into the bounce house. At least they got to see some farm animals for free.

Hawaiian Vacation

From October 13-18, we went to the island of Oahu for a little vacation. We met up with Steve's family there, and stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. What a great place to stay with kids. A lot of kid friendly restaurants and lots of activities including 5 different pools, one with a couple of waterslides, and the beach right there. We also made our own leis, learned to hula dance to the "Hukilau", and attended a luau right at the hotel. Ryan learned how to snorkle from his Uncle Kevin, and the kids spent lots of time swimming. We also visited Pearl Harbor. We packed a lot into a short amount of time! So here are a TON of pictures from our vacation.
